Portraits Made of 21st Century Stuff

Much of my creative work has been influenced by remix, the digital advancements in music, visual culture and new literacies – 21st century stuff. As someone who is fond of theories. I  like pay special attention to memory, I am eager to recycle stuff.

We are in the age of digital file transfers and a virtually limitless digital archive. I use digital material in my writing to emphasize creative mobility and collapse the artistic, cultural, social, and economic boundaries.  My personal preference is to use this style of writing to illuminate the complexities of ideals associated with race advancement and social justice. The recontextualizing of digital material is one of the ways to stake "claim to history".
